Prairie Friends and Families,
Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! We are thrilled to welcome our students and families back to Prairie, and our entire team cannot wait to kick off a brand-new year of learning, discovery, and joy. Our staff has been hard at work all summer preparing warm, engaging classrooms to ensure every child steps into a safe, supportive environment where they are empowered to thrive.
Everything we do at Prairie is guided by our school vision - Connect. Grow. Impact. - and rooted in our district mission: to develop in our students the capacity and skills to be community, college, and career ready. From their very first steps in our hallways, we are dedicated to helping our students build the confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills they need for a bright future.
Below, you will find important details to help launch our year together smoothly. You are our most valued partner in your child's education, so please never hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or to me directly with any questions. Thank you for your continued partnership - we are stronger together! We are Team Prairie! Warmly, Carly Solberg - Principal, Prairie Elementary |

| Annual Registration 2026-2027 School Year |
Annual Registration is a required yearly event that parents must complete in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal for all students enrolled for the 2026-2027 school year. It provides parents/guardians the opportunity to verify and correct household information, parent/guardian information, student information, emergency contact information & sequence, and update other household members.
When a family member's information is up-to-date, it allows for staff members to be able to contact you quickly and accurately. Now is the time to ensure that each guardian includes their own unique, personal email address and phone number when updating this contact information.
To assist you with the Annual Registration process, we have developed resources to assist you:
Annual Registration (English)
Inscripción Anual (Spanish)
If you have additional questions about enrollment, please contact enrollment@waukesha.k12.wi.us or call 262-970-1024. |
